Brent Music Service has been providing instrumental and vocal music tuition in and out of schools for the borough for the last 13 years, offering musical education to over 70,000 students during this time. Its commitment to making music accessible for every pupil in the borough with their Year 3 recorder programme has earned them respect throughout the country. Additionally, the service’s out of school ensembles offer the added benefits of expanding players’ musical knowledge and developing teamwork and friendships. As a result of their commitment to such initiatives, the presentation of Brent Makes Music 2007 by 1,300 children at Wembley Arena is true evidence of the way in which so many young musicians can benefit from the service. |
